WWE NXT video highlights: Last-chance qualifying match
The final build to NXT Stand & Deliver took place on last night’s go-home show.
In the main event of the episode, Cameron Grimes secured the final spot in the North American Championship ladder match at Stand & Deliver. He defeated Roderick Strong and A-Kid in a last-chance qualifying match.
Grimes, Strong, and A-Kid had all lost previous qualifying matches. This was Grimes’ last chance to earn a spot on the Stand & Deliver card and go on to make his late father proud by becoming a champion.
Carmelo Hayes will defend his North American title against Santos Escobar, Solo Sikoa, Grayson Waller, and Grimes in the ladder match at Stand & Deliver. A brawl between the ladder match participants broke out following last night’s main event.
Another new title match was also made official for Stand & Deliver last night. The reunited Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai will challenge Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles on the Stand & Deliver pre-show.
