WWE NXT video highlights: Final episode of 2022

NXT wrapped up its 2022 with the show’s final episode of the year airing last night.

In the main event, Wes Lee was able to retain the NXT North American Championship after getting an assist from Dijak. Tony D’Angelo challenged Lee for the title but was distracted when Dijak abducted Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo from ringside. The distraction allowed Lee to hit a handspring kick on D’Angelo to get the victory.

D’Angelo and Dijak have both recently been in the North American title picture. Last week, D’Angelo ordered Stacks to tell Dijak to stay out of their business. 

Also on last night’s show: Fallon Henley retained control of her family’s bar by defeating Kiana James, Wendy Choo defeated Cora Jade in a grudge match, and more.
