WWE NXT video highlights: Final build to TakeOver Portland
The build to TakeOver: Portland wrapped up on last night’s go-home episode of NXT.
Ahead of their NXT Championship match on Sunday, the show ended with Adam Cole and Tommaso Ciampa going face-to-face. Ciampa then dropped Cole after the episode went off the air and cut a promo about why winning the NXT title and going into WrestleMania weekend as champion this year means so much to him.
Bianca Belair also stood tall heading into TakeOver. She defeated Santana Garrett last night and then laid out Rhea Ripley with the KOD.
Plus, Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox brawled prior to their street fight at TakeOver, WWE aired a series of videos on Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne’s road trip to Portland, Mark Henry took part in a video package hyping up Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic’s North American Championship match, and Johnny Gargano defeated Cameron Grimes.
