WWE NXT video highlights: Ciampa and Gargano brawl

With their regular venue not available due to Full Sail University’s Hall of Fame week, last night’s NXT was a special episode live from the WWE Performance Center.

The show-closing angle was a wild brawl between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. It went throughout the Performance Center and ended with Ciampa giving Gargano an Air Raid Crash off of a perch and through the announce table.

Prior to the brawl, Gargano offered an explanation for why he turned against Ciampa. Gargano said it seems like everyone has forgotten the past three years, but Gargano hasn’t. Gargano hasn’t forgotten about what Ciampa did to him, the fans, and to NXT. He called Ciampa the worst person in NXT history and asked why Ciampa has been redeemed.

WWE uploaded a post-show video where Gargano was taken out by ambulance.

NXT general manager William Regal also tweeted to further the angle: “The actions of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to each other and to the WWE Performance Center are beyond unprofessional and UNACCEPTABLE on every level. I will be dealing with this privately with both gentlemen.”
