WWE NXT video highlights: Bron Breakker takes a leap of faith
A show-long storyline on last night’s NXT saw Bron Breakker search for Joe Gacy throughout the Performance Center.
After Gacy stole Rick Steiner’s WWE Hall of Fame ring, Breakker attempted to call out Gacy last night and get the ring back. But Gacy instead told Breakker that he would have to find him. Gacy’s face appeared on all of the video screens in the arena and he laughed at Breakker.
The search ended when Gacy appeared on a platform in the arena at the end of the night. He agreed to give Steiner’s ring back to Breakker — but Gacy had one condition: Breakker would have to give Gacy an NXT Championship shot. Breakker agreed and got the ring back.
Gacy then said there was still one more thing Breakker had to do: take a leap of faith. He pushed Breakker off the platform and onto the ground below. Cloaked figures surrounded Breakker, and he yelled for them to get off of him as the show went off the air.
Breakker will defend the NXT Championship against Gacy on a special “Spring Breakin'” episode of NXT in two weeks (Tuesday, May 3). Cameron Grimes defending his North American title in a triple threat match against Carmelo Hayes and Solo Sikoa has also been made official for that episode.
