WWE NXT reveals name for Dion Lennox faction

The mysterious group waging war within NXT now has a name.
The group struck again on Tuesday, jumping Tony D’Angelo backstage and powerbombing him through a table as the rest of D’Angelo’s family were competing in a match. Later backstage, Dion Lennox and the rest of the group appeared unmasked in a backstage promo. It was Saquon Shugars that revealed their new name going forward, Darkstate. The group then left, saying they weren’t done for the night.
After Trick Williams defeated Eddy Thorpe in an NXT Underground match, Williams called out Oba Femi, who quickly made it to the ring. However, Darkstate then made their entrance, appearing in the crowd. Je’Von Evans arrived during the distraction and got in Williams’ face, which led to a brawl that had to be broken up by the Evolve roster, who surrounded the ring during the match. However, there was an opening just long enough for Evans to lay out Femi with a cutter. Darkstate seemed to admire what Evans did as he got in Williams’ face to close out the show.
Darkstate first made their debut at Vengeance Day last month where they attacked Josh Briggs, Yoshiki Inamura, Nathan Frazer, Axiom, and Oba Femi. In the weeks since, they have ransacked the WWE Performance Center on multiple occasions. At Road Block last week, they attacked Evans after he defeated Ethan Page in a street fight.
