WWE NXT ratings up for return to USA Network

Tuesday night’s NXT averaged 612,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 16.6 percent from last week’s Vengeance Day edition of the show on Syfy. The viewership number is down 1.1 percent from the last time NXT aired on USA.

NXT was moved to Syfy the previous two weeks due to the Winter Olympics being on USA Network.

NXT finished 43rd on the cable charts on Tuesday with a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 9.1 percent from last week but down 7.7 percent from when NXT aired on USA Network three weeks ago. It’s the second-lowest rating in the demo that NXT has done on USA Network so far in 2022.

NXT was either even or down from three weeks ago in every demo except for people over 50, which is the show’s strongest category. That’s the reason the viewership number held up as well as it did. With females 12-34, the show tied a record low with a 0.03 rating.

As compared with the same week in 2022, NXT was down 16.7 percent in overall viewers and down 33.3 percent in 18-49. That was when NXT was still running head-to-head with AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays.

Below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo numbers for weeks NXT has aired on USA Network. This week’s episode was down 0.8 percent in viewers and down 14.3 percent in 18-49, so the show skewed much older than in recent weeks. People over 50 were up 5.7 percent from the recent averages.
