WWE NXT ratings up for New Year’s Evil go-home show

Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT averaged 653,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 11.1 percent from last week. It’s the third-highest audience total for the show since November 15.

NXT drew a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo, finishing 31st on the cable charts on what was a relatively strong night for TV viewership. That’s up 33.3 percent from last week and is NXT’s highest rating in that category since December 13.

The show faced competition in the form of college basketball on ESPN, which topped the cable charts, and broadcast networks airing new episodes for the first time since the holiday season.

NXT’s ratings were up in every demo with the exception of females 12-34, which were down 20 percent. The biggest increase was with women 18-49, which were up 33.3 percent to a 0.12 rating. There were only two NXT episodes in 2022 that had more viewers in that category.

As compared to the same week in 2022, NXT’s overall viewership was down 4.7 percent from its New Year’s Evil 2021 special (which has been moved back a week this year). NXT’s 18-49 rating was the same as last year.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and detailed demo ratings for NXT, as well as the 10-week averages in all categories. This week’s show was up 0.9 percent in overall viewers and up 14.3 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
