WWE NXT ratings hold up well for second week on The CW

Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT — the show’s second week on The CW Network — averaged 874,000 viewers, down 2.4 percent from last week’s premiere. It’s the second-highest audience total for NXT since October 10 of last year.
NXT drew a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 7.7 percent from last week but is the second-highest rating any show on The CW has done in 2024. It ties the best number NXT has done in 18-49 since June 18 and is the show’s third-highest rating of the year to date.
The second hour of NXT went head-to-head with last night’s Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite, while there was also competition from the MLB playoffs and the start of the NHL season.
As compared to the same week in 2023, NXT’s overall viewership was down 5.1 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 20 percent. Last year’s episode — which included appearances by The Undertaker, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes — also went against a Title Tuesday Dynamite.
Randy Orton was among the main roster stars featured on NXT last night, defeating Je’Von Evans in the main event.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for NXT, as well as the 10-week average in both categories. The first nine weeks on the chart are from USA Network airings of the show with the last two being on The CW. This week’s episode was up 38.5 percent in overall viewers and up 33.3 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
