WWE NXT ratings down with move to Syfy

As expected with the show airing on Syfy due to the Olympics, WWE NXT experienced a ratings drop on Tuesday night.
Week one of NXT Great American Bash 2024 averaged 468,000 viewers on Syfy, down 26.1 percent from last week’s episode that aired on USA. This is the second-lowest audience total NXT has ever done, only ahead of a February 2022 episode that was moved to Syfy because of the Winter Olympics.
NXT drew a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 21.1 percent from last week. That’s the lowest rating the show has done in that category since April 30 and is NXT’s second-lowest rating of 2024 so far. However, it is the best 18-49 rating NXT has done of the five times the show has been moved to Syfy.
The show aired head-to-head with Olympics coverage on NBC, USA, and Peacock. NXT will also be on Syfy next Tuesday for week two of Great American Bash.
As compared to the same week in 2023, when the show aired on USA, NXT’s overall viewership was down 34.7 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 34.8 percent.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for NXT, as well as the 10-week average in both categories.
