WWE NXT ratings down against heavy sports competition

Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT averaged 567,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 14% from the previous week. It’s the second lowest audience the show has done since July 4th of last year.
NXT averaged a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 5.3% from last week but ties the fourth-highest rating the show has done since February 6th.
The show went head to head with portions of two NBA playoff games on TNT that averaged 4.88 million and 4.51 million viewers as well as the WNBA season debut of Caitlin Clark, which was the most viewed game in that league since 2001 with 2.13 million viewers on ESPN 2. An NHL playoff game on the ESPN main network also aired head-to-head and averaged 1.99 million.
Compared to the same week in 2023, overall viewership was up 0.5% while the 18-49 rating was up 28.6%, skewing much younger.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for WWE NXT on the USA Network as well as the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was down 8.7% in overall viewers but was even in 18-49 as compared to recent averages.
