WWE NXT draws nearly one million viewers for New Year’s Evil

Tuesday night’s special New Year’s Evil edition of WWE NXT averaged 957,000 viewers on The CW, up 52.9 percent from last week. It’s the best viewership total for NXT since moving to The CW and is the show’s largest overall audience since September 25, 2019.

NXT drew a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 66.7 percent from last week and is the best rating the show has done in that category since the debut episode on CW.

The show featured an appearance by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (which was publicized the night before on Raw’s Netflix premiere), along with multiple title matches.

As compared to the same week in 2024, when the show aired on USA Network, NXT’s overall audience was up 32.6 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 19.1 percent.
