WWE NXT draws lowest ratings of 2025

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode averaged 689,000 viewers on The CW, down 14 percent from last week. It’s the lowest audience total for the show since New Year’s Eve 2024.

NXT finished tied for 11th among prime time network programming with a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 5.6 percent from last week and ties the lowest rating the show has done since the December 31 episode.

The show had lesser-than-usual sports competition but did air against TGL Golf on ESPN (546,000 viewers and a 0.15 in 18-49) in the first hour, as well as going against portions of two different college basketball games on ESPN and FS1 in the second half of the show. Those games drew 750,000 viewers and a 0.18 rating and 628,000 viewers and a 0.15 rating respectively.

As compared to the same week in 2024, when the show still aired on the USA Network, NXT’s overall audience was up 11.9 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 5.6 percent, so the audience is skewing much older.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for NXT, along with the 10-week averaged in both categories. This week’s show was down 8.4 percent in overall viewers and 5.6 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
