WWE NXT draws best demo rating of 2022, finishes seventh on cable

Tuesday’s episode of NXT averaged 637,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 4.1 percent from last week. It’s NXT’s fifth-highest viewership number to date in 2022.
More impressively, NXT finished seventh on the cable charts in the 18-49 demo with a 0.18 rating, up 50 percent from last week. It’s the show’s best rating in that category since September 21 of last year.
This was the second straight week where NXT was taped in advance. The show will return to airing live next Tuesday.
NXT was actually down from last week in the show’s biggest demo (people over 50), falling 11.1 percent to a 0.32 rating. That’s one of NXT’s lowest ratings of the year in that age group. But it was offset by huge increases with young women. Women 18-49 were up 140 percent to a 0.12 rating, and the show was also up 100 percent with females 12-34.
As compared to the same week in 2021, NXT was down 4.2 percent in total viewers but up 5.9 percent in 18-49.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for NXT, as well as the 10-week averages in both categories. This week’s episode was up eight percent in overall viewers and up 38.5 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
