WWE confirms NXT episode for former ECW Arena

WWE is officially bringing NXT to the former ECW Arena for the first time ever.

It was confirmed today that NXT will air live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 6. While NXT is normally a Tuesday show, it’s being moved to Wednesday that week to avoid going against election night coverage.

Dave Meltzer first reported last week that WWE had a date booked at the former ECW Arena that was likely for the November 6 NXT episode.

Tickets for the show are going on sale tomorrow (October 22). A pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. Eastern time (with “NXTLIVE” as the access code) before tickets go on sale to the general public two hours later at noon.

“The city of Philadelphia has a rich wrestling history, and we are excited to bring a night of unforgettable action to such a storied venue,” Shawn Michaels said in a press release.

NXT’s new five-year TV deal with The CW Network went into effect at the beginning of this month. The first two episodes of the CW era took place on the road before the show returned to the WWE Performance Center last week.

The November 6 episode of NXT will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, which is being held in Manchester, New Hampshire that night.
