WWE announces date & location for NXT New Year’s Evil, two title matches set

NXT is heading to LA.
WWE announced during Saturday’s Deadline premium live event that New Year’s Evil will take place on January 7 in Los Angeles. It will be held one day after Raw’s premiere on Netflix at the Intuit Dome. A venue has yet to be announced.
During the show, it was announced that two title matches would be taking place in Los Angeles. Oba Femi will challenge for the NXT Championship, currently held by Trick Williams, while Giulia will challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship, which is held by Roxanne Perez. Both Femi and Giulia won their Iron Survivor Challenge matches, becoming the new number one contenders.
During a backstage segment announcing New Year’s Evil, Tiffany Stratton appeared and told NXT GM Ava that she had a Tiffany Epiphany, teasing she could cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase on whoever wins between Giulia and Perez.
