Velveteen Dream denies allegation of inappropriate behavior

Velveteen Dream (real name Patrick Clark) issued a statement today denying an allegation of inappropriate behavior that was made against him.
“Be assured I did not communicate inappropriately with anyone,” Dream wrote in a statement that was posted on his social media accounts. “A private photo of mine was shared without my consent or knowledge and I am working with a third party to look into this matter.”
The allegation surfaced when a Reddit user claimed that Dream was sending them and their friends messages of a sexual nature through Instagram direct messages. The Reddit user posted a censored screenshot of a nude picture that Dream allegedly sent them and claimed that Dream blocked them after they wouldn’t send him a nude picture back.
The Reddit user wrote that they were 17 years old and their friends were 15 and 16.
A brief audio clip that was allegedly sent by Dream was also posted to Reddit.
WWE hasn’t commented on the situation. On NXT, the company has been building to Dream challenging Adam Cole for the NXT Championship. He pinned Cole in a tag team match in the main event of this week’s NXT episode.
