Tyler Bate earns NXT UK Heritage Cup shot, next week’s TV lineup

On Thursday’s NXT UK: Prelude special, Tyler Bate earned a shot at the Heritage Cup Championship with a victory over rival Noam Dar.
Fought under Heritage Cup rules, Bate defeated Dar in the sixth round, two falls to one, after hitting the Tyler Driver ’97 to get the pin. The win is his fourth straight since he lost to current champion A-Kid in the Heritage Cup finals in December while this was Dar’s first match since he lost in the November’s Heritage Cup semifinals, also to A-Kid.
No date was announced for the rematch, but A-Kid appeared on the show and said he wanted to prove who was the best mat wrestler in NXT UK.
