Three championship matches booked for next week’s WWE NXT
Three championship matches are set for the Tuesday, August 13 edition of WWE NXT.
NXT North American Champion Oba Femi will hold an open challenge for his title on next week’s episode.
Femi threw down the gauntlet for an open challenge during this week’s Great American Bash episode of NXT. It will be the first match and first title defense for Femi since the July 16 edition of WWE NXT.
The NXT Tag Team Championship will also be defended on next week’s episode, with Nathan Frazer & Axiom defending against top contenders Andre Chase & Ridge Holland. Frazer & Axiom retained their titles in the main event of night two of Great American Bash, defeating MSK.
Tony D’Angelo will defend the NXT Heritage Cup Championship on next week’s episode against No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey in another title bout made official during this week’s show.
Also set for next week, the rivalry between Lexis King and Eddy Thorpe will continue with a singles match between the two competitors.
