Thea Hail earns future Women’s title match on WWE NXT

Thea Hail will get the first shot at Tiffany Stratton.

Hail won a battle royal that took place on Tuesday’s NXT to determine the first challenger for Tiffany Stratton’s NXT Championship. The final two first appeared to be between Dana Brooke, who came in a surprise participant, and Cora Jade. Hail, who earlier in the match had been laid out, emerged from the outside and re-entered the match. Eventually, Hail managed to eliminate both Brooke and Jade at once to become the new number one contender.

After the match, a large Chase U contingent entered the ring and celebrated with Hail. Haley and Hanna Cavinder, who are signed to WWE NIL deals, hoisted Hail on their shoulders as she celebrated.

In recent weeks, Andre Chase has been missing from Chase U, allowing Duke Hudson to take over in his place. However, Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak have also been involved in regards to teaching. Prior to the match on Tuesday, Hail was seen walking out of a lesson from Dempsey when Hudson confronted her. Hail said that they were teaching her how to be tougher.
