Stephanie Vaquer to defend both titles on next week’s WWE NXT
The new NXT Women’s Champion and Women’s North American Champion will defend her titles in separate matches on next week’s WWE NXT episode.
As announced on this week’s show, Stephanie Vaquer will defend her NXT Women’s Championship in the opening match next week against Jaida Parker. It will be the first title defense for Vaquer since defeating Giulia in a title for title match at NXT Roadblock on March 11. The Parker defense was set up with an in-ring confrontation between Vaquer and Parker on this week’s show.
Later in next week’s episode, Vaquer will defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against former title holder Fallon Henley. Vaquer defeated Henley for the title at Vengeance Day in February.
A third title will be defended on next week’s show as well, as Lexis King defends the NXT Heritage Cup against Je’Von Evans. A backstage confrontation between those two on this week’s show set up that title bout for next week.
