Shawn Michaels to issue statement regarding Deadline on next week’s WWE NXT
Shawn Michaels will issue a statement regarding NXT’s upcoming Deadline event on next week’s NXT.
In addition, JD McDonagh will face Apollo Crews and a contract signing between Wes Lee and Carmelo Hayes will be held ahead of their title match on November 8.
Although not given a defined role on screen, Shawn Micheals has served as a on-screen authority figure of sorts in recent weeks. Deadline is scheduled to take place on December 10.
Crews, who has been looking to challenge Bron Breakker since returning to NXT, was confronted by JD McDonagh on last week’s program regarding a future title match. On Tuesday’s show, McDonagh defeated Axiom after the referee stopped the match, with Axiom being unable to continue.
Two title matches have already been announced for next week’s show: Breakker defending the NXT Championship against Von Wagner and Mandy Rose defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Alba Fyre.
