Sha Samuels signs with WWE, makes NXT UK debut

A veteran of the United Kingdom wrestling scene made their NXT UK television debut on this week’s episode.

In his first match since signing with WWE, Sha Samuels lost to Joe Coffey on this week’s NXT UK. Samuels was initially introduced as Ed Harvey, but he got on the microphone during the match and declared that he’s not Ed Harvey, he didn’t come here to be Ed Harvey, and everyone knows he’s Sha Samuels.

Coffey won the match with his All the Best for the Bells lariat.

Samuels tweeted after making his debut: “Oi Oi!!! I have officially signed with the @WWE It’s been a really long journey to get here. Full of ups, downs and loads of hard work. But the proper hard graft starts now!! EAST x NXT:UK”

Our Markus Gronemann wrote about Samuels in this week’s NXT UK report:
