Roxanne Perez’s Battleground opponent to be revealed on next WWE NXT
Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will learn her opponent for Battleground on next week’s WWE NXT episode, plus four matches are set for next week’s show.
WWE revealed on Tuesday’s episode that Roxanne Perez’s Women’s Championship will be on the line at Battleground on Sunday, June 9, and that Perez’s opponent will officially be announced on next week’s show.
Four matches, plus a special appearance are also set for next week.
Two qualifying matches next week will determine the final participants in the six-pack ladder match at Battleground to crown the inaugural Women’s North American Champion. Michin will face Tatum Paxley in one qualifier, while Kelani Jordan will face Wren Sinclair in the other.
NXT Champion Trick Williams will team with Je’Von Evans next week against Wolfgang and Mark Coffey of Gallus stemming from an angle on this week’s show where Gallus attacked Trick.
Riley Osborne of Chase U will also go one-on-one with Ridge Holland next week.
As previously announced, rapper Sexyy Red is also set to appear on next week’s show.
