Roxanne Perez wins NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament

Roxanne Perez is the winner of this year’s NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.

On tonight’s NXT, Perez defeated Tiffany Stratton with her version of the code red called pop rox to win the tournament. With the win, Perez now receives a contract that will allow her to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship, which is currently held by Mandy Rose.

As Cora Jade came to the ring to celebrate with Perez, Rose and the rest of Toxic Attraction came out. Rose congratulated Perez but told her to celebrate now as it is all downhill from here. She told Perez that if she challenged her, she would fail. The two ended up getting into a brawl, with Indi Hartwell making the save for Jade and Perez, warding off Toxic Attraction.

Perez defeated Kiana James and Lash Legend to make it to the finals. Stratton, a replacement for an injured Nikkita Lyons, only defeated Fallon Henley in the semifinals to make it to tonight’s match.
