Report: NXT premium live event to take place on same day as AEW All Out

NXT may be running a show on the same day as AEW’s All Out event.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported on Tuesday that NXT is set to hold a premium live event on September 4 that would air on Peacock. AEW is set to run a show on the same day in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. WWE has not confirmed a date for their next NXT premium live event.
Thurston also reported that the next NXT television special would be called Heatwave, and would take place on the August 16 edition of NXT. On tonight’s NXT, the name and date were confirmed, with Bron Breakker vs. JD McDonagh and Mandy Rose vs. Zoey Stark announced for the special.
WWE already has one show that will take place during Labor Day weekend. WWE Clash at the Castle will take place on Saturday, September 3 in Cardiff, Wales. A match between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus on Friday’s SmackDown will determine who will challenge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at the show.
