Randy Orton vs. Je’Von Evans, Sexxy Red appearance set for WWE NXT Missouri

Randy Orton and Je’von Evans will meet in Missouri.

It was announced on Tuesday that Evans will meet the multiple-time WWE Champion on the October 8 edition of NXT in Chesterfield, Missouri. In addition, rapper Sexxy Red will make an appearance.

During Tuesday’s show, Evans asked NXT General Manager Ava for a match on the show in Missouri. Later in the show after Evans and Cedric Alexander defeated Tavion Heights and Myles Borne, it was revealed that Randy Orton posted on X that he was Evans’ opponent.

Red first made an appearance earlier this year on NXT, officially unveiling the NXT Women’s North American title. She later accompanied Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans to the ring for a match against Gallus. She got involved in the finish, preventing Gallus from using a title belt that led to Williams and Evans scoring the victory. She would also serve as the host for the WWE NXT Battleground premium live event.

A match for the NXT Tag Team titles was also set for October 8. After A-Town Down Under challenged Nathan Frazer & Axiom to a title match earlier in the day, the champions accepted, making it official.
