WWE reveals participants for NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament

NXT has revealed the participants for their upcoming Women’s Breakout tournament.

During NXT No Mercy on Saturday, it was revealed that Jakara Jackson, Karmen Petrovic, Lola Vice, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Dani Palmer, Kelani Jordan, and Arianna Grace will take part in this year’s tournament. Tournament matches will begin on Tuesday’s show.

Jackson, Vice, Palmer, Jordan, and Grace have all been featured on NXT TV in the past. Jordan wrestled on NXT No Mercy’s pre-show Saturday, losing to Blair Davenport. Jackson is currently a part of Meta-Four with Lash Legend, Noam Dar, and Oro Mensah.

Grace, who took part in last year’s tournament, will be making her return to TV after being out of action for nearly a year after tearing her ACL last October. She recently returned to NXT house shows earlier in September.

This is the second year in a row NXT has held a Breakout tournament featuring women. In last year’s tournament, Roxanne Perez defeated Tiffany Stratton in the finals to win the tournament. Both would go on to hold the NXT Women’s Championship in the following year.
