WWE NXT video highlights: New Year’s Evil go-home show

NXT presented the go-home show for New Year’s Evil last night.
In the final segment of Tuesday’s show, NXT Champion Bron Breakker appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect. Waller insulted Breakker throughout the segment, attempting to bait the champion into a physical confrontation. Breakker finally had enough after his father, Rick Steiner, was insulted. He gave Waller a gorilla press into a powerslam and then used Waller’s phone to record himself doing a flip dive over the ropes onto Waller. The show closed with Breakker standing tall over his future challenger.
Four matches for next week’s New Year’s Evil show were also confirmed last night. A 20-woman battle royal to determine Roxanne Perez’s next challenger, Dijak vs. Tony D’Angelo, Charlie Dempsey vs. Hank Walker, and a tag team gauntlet match featuring Pretty Deadly has been added to the card.
