NXT on USA to air on Tuesday for additional week

The updated USA Network schedule has NXT remaining on Tuesday for an additional week due to the NHL playoffs.

If the schedule remains as listed, NXT will air on Tuesday, September 8th at 8 PM Eastern with the NHL’s conference finals airing on Wednesday on USA. NBCUniversal owns the rights to the playoffs and with several options available like the NBC Sports Network, the schedule could change but USA might be the preferred option due to availability in more homes.

Those preferring to wait until Wednesday can watch NXT in its usual timeslot on SyFy Network for the next two weeks.

This Tuesday will mark the first NXT preemption due to the NHL playoffs with a “Super Tuesday” show headlined by a first time ever four-way 60-minute Iron Man match for the vacant NXT Championship featuring Adam Cole vs. Finn Balor vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano and a six-man tag match with Legado del Fantasma (Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde) facing Isaiah “Swerve” Scott & Tag Team Champions Breezango.
