– Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae & Mia Yim defeated Dakota Kai, Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir
Great match — this felt like one of those moments where you could see the next five years of the division in front of you. Ripley is the star ready to carry NXT to its next great in-ring women’s era. Kai was a magnificent villain, taking away hot tags, avoiding her own beatings, and using the Horsewomen as her soldiers.
Yim finally caught Kai on the outside for a throw into the stairs, which left Ripley to clean up by hitting Riptide for the win. The crowd was into this one.
– Karen Q, who is still wearing a walking boot after breaking her leg, did an in-ring interview. Karen said she would be back soon before being interrupted by Jessi Kamea. Xia Li then came to the rescue to set up the next match.
– Xia Li defeated Jessi Kamea
Karen Q celebrated with Xia Li after and these two should be back teaming together soon.
– Bianca Belair defeated MJ Jenkins
Belair hit the KOD to win this one.
– Chelsea Green defeated Shotzi Blackheart
Blackheart was also making her NXT in-ring debut here. She’s made a name for herself all around the country and most recently was working for EVOLVE.
– NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler defeated Reina Gonzalez
Baszler used the Kirifuda Clutch to get the win. She reapplied the move after the match, but Rhea Ripley came out to make the save. The babyface locker room followed along as Ripley led the crowd in a powerful NXT chant to end this unique show.
