North American title steel cage match announced for next WWE NXT
Tony D’Angelo will defend the NXT North American Championship inside a steel cage on the February 11 episode.
As set up with a backstage promo segment between the two on this week’s show, D’Angelo will once again defend his title against Ridge Holland next week, this time in a steel cage match. The bout is a rematch from the January 21 episode where D’Angelo successfully retained North American gold against Holland.
In a tune-up bout ahead of challenging for the NXT Women’s title at Vengeance Day, Bayley will be in action on next week’s episode as well, facing Cora Jade.
A three-way tag team bout will also take place on next Tuesday’s show, with No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Borne facing Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, and Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura.
Rounding out the card, Lexis King will defend the NXT Heritage Cup against the former Fandango (TNA’s JDC).
