Nikkita Lyons returns to WWE NXT TV
Nikkita Lyons has returned to WWE NXT television for the first time since January.
Lyons made her unannounced return on Tuesday’s WWE NXT episode in a backstage segment with NXT GM Ava, plus Lola Vice. Later in the episode, Lyons vs. Vice was made official for next week’s episode.
Lyons suffered a left ACL injury in January, with her last televised bout taking place on the January 9 WWE NXT episode against Blair Davenport. Lyons returned to the ring on an NXT house show on September 27, teaming with Dante Chen in a mixed tag team victory over Izzi Dame and Jasper Troy.
The left ACL injury was the second catastrophic knee injury Lyons suffered in as many years, as she suffered ACL and meniscus tears in January 2023, missing most of that calendar year as well due to injury.
Lyons vs. Vice is one of four matches set for the October 15 WWE NXT show. The announced lineup:
