Nikkita Lyons return, three matches announced for next week’s WWE NXT

The return of Nikkita Lyons, along with three other matches, is set for next week’s NXT.
In addition to Lyons’ return, Indi Hartwell will face Kiana James, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance will face Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez in a number one contender’s match for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles, and Sanga will face Xyon Quinn.
On tonight’s show, Perez and Jade came out to confront Toxic Attraction. Mandy Rose warned Perez not to challenge her. Perez said she had a swerve: she was going to use her NXT Breakout Tournament victory to team with Jade to challenge Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles. Carter and Chance came out and objected to their challenge. The two teams ended up getting into a brawl.
Hartwell and James also had a confrontation on tonight’s show, with James running down Hartwell, who eventually challenged James to a match for next week. Quinn and Sanga will meet after they confronted one that took place on last week’s show, with Sanga commenting that he had his next opponent.
Lyons will return from injury after having to be removed from the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. She had made it past the first round, but was replaced by Tiffany Stratton, who lost to Roxanne Perez in the finals.
The lineup for NXT next week so far:
- Indi Hartwell vs. Kiana James
- Katana Chance & Kayden Carter vs. Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez in a number one contenders match
- Sanga vs. Xyon Quinn
- Nikkita Lyons returns
