New name for Ricky Starks revealed on WWE NXT

Ricky Starks is no more.
After interruptions from both Ethan Page and Wes Lee, Starks signed his new contract with NXT on Tuesday. As the segment ended, the camera panned on the contract, revealing that going forward Starks will be using the name Ricky Saints in NXT.
Saints was about to sign his contract earlier in the segment when Ethan Page came out. He said Starks was playing the Ethan Page playbook to a tee, but there’s only one Ethan Page. Saints responded by mentioning Je’Von Evan’s loss, saying that people like Evans would come back eventually. That was when Evans came out as he and Page brawled into the crowd.
Wes Lee then came out and was upset that Saints had passed him by as he was being interviewed. The two agreed to a match before Lee got physical with Saints, who then clotheslined Lee out of the ring and signed his contract, revealing his new name.
Later, after both Page and Lee confronted Saints and Evans, Ava made a tag team match for next week in Cincinnati.
Saints made his debut on NXT last week, just one day after it was reported that he had been released from his AEW contract. He hadn’t been used in AEW since last March, and started taking independent dates in the fall.
