Joe Hendry returns to WWE NXT, confronts Oba Femi & Trick Williams

Joe Hendry has appeared once again in NXT.

Trick Williams was in the ring demanding a one-on-one match with Oba Femi when Hendry made a surprise appearance. The TNA Champion addressed Williams, saying he’s changed from the man he tagged with last year. Williams said he wasn’t the one that lost to Orton at WrestleMania. Hendry shot back that at least he wrestled at WrestleMania, and that he wouldn’t lose at Rebellion this Sunday.

Hendry told Femi that after Rebellion he has business with the NXT Champion. An angry Williams confronted both men, leading both champions to lay out Williams to end the segment. Backstage, Williams threw a fit and trashed the area, causing GM Ava to throw him out of the building.

At WrestleMania 41 Sunday Hendry made a surprise appearance, challenging Randy Orton who had no opponent after Kevin Owens became sidelined with a neck injury. Hendry was pinned in short order and after the match took another RKO from Orton.

Hendry is set to defend the TNA title against Frankie Kazarian and NXT star Ethan Page this Sunday.
