Je’Von Evans to make WWE NXT debut

After joining the WWE Performance Center at the start of 2024, Je’Von Evans is set to arrive on NXT television.

A video aired during Stand & Deliver announcing that Evans will debut on NXT this Tuesday (April 9). Evans has wrestled at NXT house shows and on NXT Level Up before but hasn’t competed on the main NXT television show until now.

Saturday’s video spotlighted Evans’ high-flying ability and featured the energetic Evans introducing himself to the NXT audience:

I get my own hype video? This is sick. All right, let’s go.

What’s good? My name’s Je’Von Evans. I’m 19 years old. And I’m ready to grind. NXT is about to find out that your boy is bouncy. The young OG is coming – I’ll see y’all Tuesday.

Before signing with WWE, Evans wrestled on the indies as Jay Malachi. He also made three appearances on AEW Dark.

Evans was part of a group of recruits that reported to the Performance Center this January. WWE then filed a trademark for the name “Je’Von Evans” on February 6.

Tuesday’s NXT will also feature the fallout from Stand & Deliver. No other announcements have been made for the episode yet.
