Jacy Jayne vs. Lyra Valkyria announced for WWE NXT

WWE has announced a new match for Tuesday’s edition of NXT.

Jacy Jayne vs. Lyra Valkyria has been added to the lineup for the show.

Jayne and Valkyria were involved in a backstage segment along with Rhea Ripley on last week’s show. The segment ended with Valkyria knocking Jayne to the floor and Ripley telling her she deserved it.

Valkyria performed in her home country of Ireland over the weekend. She defeated Scarlett on the 6/29 WWE house show from Dublin. She’s also coming off a loss to Tiffany Stratton in the finals of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament at Battleground.

Jacy Jayne comes into this one 3-3 in televised singles matches so far this year.
