Gallus appear at WWE NXT Heatwave, attack Diamond Mine

The Gallus group from NXT UK appeared on Tuesday’s WWE NXT Heatwave show, attacking members of Diamond Mine. 

During an in-ring promo segment teasing dissension between Roderick Strong and The Creed Brothers of Diamond Mine, Gallus’s Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey, and Wolfgang appeared, attacking Diamond Mine and leaving them laying. 

Later on Heatwave, Gallus was involved in a pull-apart backstage with Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, the current NXT UK Tag Team Champions. Briggs and Jensen captured the vacant titles on the June 23 episode of NXT UK.

Mark Coffey and Wolfgang are former NXT UK Tag Team Champions, holding the titles from October 2019 until February 2021 when they lost the titles to Pretty Deadly.

Joe Coffey headlined NXT TakeOver: Blackpool in January 2019, unsuccessfully challenging Pete Dunne in a WWE United Kingdom Championship title match. Joe Coffey was suspended by WWE in June 2020 after allegations against him surfaced as part of the #speakingout movement. He was reinstated in October 2020.
