CM Punk to make ‘special announcement’ on next WWE NXT

CM Punk will have a “special announcement” on next week’s WWE NXT.

Punk was announced as appearing live on next week’s show in the closing segment of Tuesday’s WWE NXT episode. A storyline played out on social media where Punk addressed a post to NXT GM Ava to set up next week’s appearance:

Punk has already been announced as appearing on the CW debut episode of WWE NXT on October 1 in addition to next week’s appearance.

More matches and segments are also set for next week’s WWE NXT episode.

NBA star Tyrese Haliburton will make an appearance on next week’s show. The Indiana Pacers point guard’s appearance for next week was confirmed in another social media storyline:

Trick Williams was victorious over Pete Dunne in a number one contender’s last man standing match on Tuesday’s NXT show, and Williams and NXT Champion Ethan Page will sign the contract for their October 1 title bout on next week’s episode.

Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne, plus Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley vs. Wendy Choo & TNA Knockout Rosemary are also set for next week’s episode.
