Chucky to be ‘special guest’ at NXT Halloween Havoc
This year’s NXT Halloween Havoc will feature a tie-in with a new USA Network/Syfy series.
Last night, it was announced that the character Chucky from the Child’s Play horror movie franchise will be a “special guest” at NXT Halloween Havoc. The special episode of NXT is taking place next Tuesday (October 26).
What Chucky will be doing on the show hasn’t been announced.
USA Network and Syfy’s new Chucky television series premiered earlier this month. There was also a tie-in during Raw last week where Chucky was shown watching the episode during a commercial break.
In 1998, Chucky appeared on WCW programming during a promo with Rick Steiner. Steiner’s son Bron Breakker is challenging for Tommaso Ciampa’s NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc next Tuesday.
Chucky is voiced by actor Brad Dourif.
