Carmelo Hayes will explain his actions.

NXT announced on social media that Hayes will be on this week’s show. A match between Lola Vice and Roxanne Perez is also set.

During the NXT Championship match at Sunday’s Vengeance Day, Ilja Dragunov shoved Carmelo Hayes into Williams, accidentally clipping Williams’ leg. After Williams lost the match, the two hugged but when Williams had his back turned, Hayes clipped his leg again. He then proceeded to repeatedly attack Williams’ leg with steel chair shots before he was eventually stopped by referees.

Earlier in the night, the duo failed in their efforts to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing out to Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin in the finals. The winners will hold a victory celebration on Tuesday.

Vice inserted herself into the NXT Women’s Championship match between Lyra Valkyria and Perez on Sunday, cashing in her NXT Women’s Championship match contract to turn the match into a triple threat. However, Vice failed to win the title after being pinned by Valkyria. Later backstage, Perez and Vice were seen fighting.
