Additional WWE NXT TV taping set for next week

In addition to next Tuesday’s live episode, WWE will be holding an additional NXT television taping at the Capitol Wrestling Center next week.

It was announced to the crowd at last night’s NXT that there will be a special NXT TV taping at the Capitol Wrestling Center on Wednesday, July 21. The taping is expected to be for the Tuesday, July 27 episode of NXT.

Fans who attend next Tuesday’s NXT episode and then also attend the Wednesday taping will receive a “special commemorative item.”

PWInsider reported today that, due to a scheduling conflict with the Olympics, the July 27 episode of NXT won’t air on the USA Network. It will instead premiere on Syfy. The episode is listed on the Syfy schedule for July 27, airing at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Wrestlenomics reported that the Tuesday, August 3 episode of NXT will also air on Syfy due to a conflict with the Olympics.

Next Tuesday’s NXT episode will feature Raquel Gonzalez defending her NXT Women’s Championship against Xia Li, Kushida & Bobby Fish facing Diamond Mine’s Roderick Strong & Tyler Rust in a tag team match, and the continuation of the first round of NXT’s Breakout tournament.
