A-Kid debut announced for next week’s WWE NXT

NXT UK star A-Kid will be making his NXT debut next week.

In addition, Cameron Grimes will face Santos Escobar where the winner advances to the NXT North American title ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver, while Persia Pirotta will face Indi Hartwell.

Prior to tonight’s main event, a vignette aired showing A-Kid. He said that he was the first Spanish WWE superstar and worked hard to get signed to NXT UK, mentioning that he was the first Heritage Cup Champion. He then said he would be coming to NXT next week.

Dissension grew between Hartwell and Pirotta on this week’s NXT. After Pirotta said that she and Duke Hudson had a great weekend, Hartwell asked if she even cares if they lost their Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic match. Pirotta said she was carrying the team and did not like that Hartwell wasn’t supportive of her and Hudson’s relationship. The two got into a fight, with Hartwell suggesting they deal with it in the ring.

On last week’s NXT, Carmelo Hayes announced that he would be putting up the NXT North American title in a ladder match that will take place at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 2. The match between Grimes and Escobar will determine the first participant to qualify.
