Strong Tag Team title match set for NJPW Battle in the Valley

A match for the Strong Tag Team titles has been made for next month’s Battle in the Valley.

The Motor City Machine Guns will defend the titles against World Class Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson and Royce Issacs). WCWC confronted the champions backstage on a recent episode of NJPW Strong, asking for a tag team title match on February 18 in San Jose. Alex Shelley said they’ll sign the contract, saying that the WCWC aren’t going to realize their goals through the Motor City Machine Guns.

Additionally, an eight-man tag team match has been added to the card. Rocky Romero will team with Mascara Dorada, Josh Alexander, and Adrian Quest to take on Volador Jr., The DKC, and Kevin Knight. It was Romero who defeated Volador Jr. for the NWA Historic Welterweight title this past weekend at a CMLL event.
