Top matches announced for NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 29

Top matches have been announced for NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors 29 tournament that will begin later this month.
The first half of the tournament will see standalone block events, with YOH vs. Taiji Ishimori starting things off on May 15 for the A Block. May 17 will kick off the B block, with El Desperado facing CMLL’s Titan.
Starting on May 24, the rest of the tour will feature ten match cards featuring both blocks of the tournament. Notably, a rematch between Hiromu Takahashi and YOH will take place on the May 25 Korakuen Hall card, a rematch from Wrestling Dontaku that saw Takahashi pick up the victory.

- May 24, Korakuen Hall: El Desperado vs. El Lindaman, Taiji Ishimori vs. SHO
- May 25, Korakuen Hall: Hiromu Takahashi vs. YOH, Master Wato vs. El Desperado
- May 26, Korakuen Hall: Robbie Eagles vs. El Phantasmo, Hiromu Takahashi vs. SHO

The card on May 31 in Toyama will be decided by league standing. The winners of the A Block and B Block will then meet in the finals at Budokan Hall on June 3.
