NJPW World Tag League 2024 night eight results, updated standings

Though the celebration was short-lived, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Jado got their first victory of World Tag League 2024 on Thursday.

Tanahashi & Jado defeated Taichi & TAKA Michinoku in the main event of Tag League night eight. But after the match ended, House of Torture launched an attack with EVIL laying out Tanahashi ahead of their match at Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4.

In today’s semi-main event, EVIL & Ren Narita picked up a tournament win against Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls. Here are the quick results from the show:

Great-O-Khan & HENARE, EVIL & Narita, and Naito & Hiromu are tied at the top of B Block with all three teams having six points. The tournament runs through December 8. The next show — an A Block event — is taking place this Friday (November 29).
