NJPW reveals teams for Super Junior Tag League

The teams have been revealed for the upcoming Super Junior Tag League. 

The tournament kicks off on October 21 at the start of the Road to Power Struggle tour. The finals will take place on November 4 at Power Struggle. 

The 10 teams entered into the tournament will compete in one block for the round-robin portion of the tournament. The top two points-leaders will advance to the finals. 

YOH and Lio Rush won the tournament last year. However, Rush was pulled from recent NJPW shows due to a fever. YOH’s partner for the tournament this year is listed as TBA.

  • El Desperado & Master Wato
  • DOUKI & Taka Michinoku
  • BUSHI & Titan
  • Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita
  • TJP & Francesco Akira
  • Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney
  • SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru

This will be the fifth edition of the Super Junior Tag League. YOH and Rush defeated Ace Austin and Chris Bey in the finals last year. El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru won in 2021 and Roppongi 3K won in 2018 and 2019.
