NJPW reveals G1 Climax 33 participants


The full list of participants in this year’s G1 Climax tournament have been revealed.
Two of the biggest surprises this year include the inclusion of AEW star Eddie Kingston and Pro Wrestling NOAH star Kaito Kiyomiya. Kingston has appeared regularly on NJPW Strong events in the United States. Kiyomiya was involved in a high-profile angle with Kazuchika Okada that led to a match at Keiji Muto’s retirement show in February, which Okada won.
Chase Owens and Tanga Loa, both of whom have been out of action, will be returning for the tournament. Although they were shown to represent the LA Dojo during the announcements, Alex Coughlin and Gabriel Kidd both joined the Bullet Club at Dominion, attacking YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto after they won the IWGP Tag Team and Strong Openweight Tag Team titles.
