NJPW reveals full card for New Japan Cup semifinals
NJPW has announced the full lineup for the New Japan Cup semifinals.
The event is being held at Osaka-jo Hall this Saturday and will air live on NJPW World starting at 3 a.m. Eastern time. The card is headlined by Kazuchika Okada vs. Tetsuya Naito and Shingo Takagi vs. Zack Sabre Jr. in the New Japan Cup semifinals.
Okada advanced to the semifinals by defeating CIMA in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Naito defeated Jeff Cobb in the quarterfinals, Takagi defeated Hiromu Takahashi, and Sabre defeated Will Ospreay.
The winners of Okada vs. Naito and Takagi vs. Sabre will advance to face each other in the tournament finals this Sunday. That show is also taking place at Osaka-jo Hall.
Okada is the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
Six other matches round out the lineup for the New Japan Cup semifinals. The full card for the event is listed below:
